Kingdom Culture of Supernatural Endowment

Kingdom Culture of Supernatural Endowment

“… we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ….” Romans 8:16-17

God is always challenging us to operate by His kingdom culture. We live in this world, but we are not of this world. We used to be in the world system, but now, as Christians, we have become part of a new system, a new kingdom, where Jesus is King. He is not only King in title, but in authority and power. It is a realm where He has dominion, and He shares that dominion with those who yield to His loving lordship.

That means, we are to be receiving from this power and authority. God made us to be joint heirs with Christ, so all that God has, He has given to His Son and to us. We are in a covenant with God, so all that He has, He freely shares with us. If you know what belongs to you, then you can access it. However, if you don’t know it, then you won’t know to access it. For example, if a millionaire died and left everything to you in his will, then you would be able to receive that inheritance. If you did not know about the will or the inheritance, then you would not receive that inheritance.

He gave us His name, and we’ve been instructed to use the name of Jesus when operating in kingdom authority. We can take authority over the things Jesus took authority over, as long as we are submitted to God and working within His will. I believe this includes authority over Satan and his demons. I believe this includes authority over sickness, some death, and natural disasters. We are not operating in our own name, but in the name of Jesus. We represent Him.

He gave us His power. After Christ resurrected, He sent the Holy Spirit. Any Christian who is submitted to God and obedient to His will, can use their authority in Him, and the Holy Spirit will back up that authority with power. Let’s not forget that this same Holy Spirit created the universe. Let’s remember that this same Holy Spirit raised Christ from the dead, and now that power is working in us. He will save, deliver, heal, raise the dead, and work miracles – through us. It’s wild to think about, isn’t it? The Holy Spirit will give us words or messages to share with others – words of knowledge, wisdom, and prophecy. The Holy Spirit will give us spiritual songs, cause us to pray and speak in unknown languages, give us discernment and understanding of what is happening in the spirit realm. The Holy Spirit will give us an anointing to believe, an anointing to serve, an anointing to minister His power to others. This kingdom has a culture of supernatural endowment, not to do our own thing, but to serve the King in His kingdom. That’s a powerful thought!

Application: Each day, ask God to use you as His Servant. As you obey, you will find the power that backs you up so God can have His way.
