Kingdom Culture of Spiritual Insight
“For we live by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
Iin the world system, people operate ONLY by their natural knowledge and experience. They function by their senses – what they can hear, see, feel, taste, and touch; but they lack in their understanding of true spiritual insight. Some will know that sense of intuition, and some even go to the lengths of witchcraft; however, unless someone is born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, they are void of true spiritual understanding and function.
In kingdom culture, we are not limited to only natural understanding. Our spirit has come alive, recreated after the image and likeness of God. The Holy Spirit is able to come inside the new heart, or spirit, and He has the power to work together with us, giving us spiritual insight and understanding. As we grow in the matters of the spirit, our spiritual clarity can grow. We hear what others may not hear. We see what others may not see. We perceive what God wants to do in His kingdom here on Earth. We just know that we know that we know – not because we figured it out, but because the Holy Spirit dropped it inside of us. God is the only One who gets the glory for this; we are the receivers, and God is the Giver.
When we know something from the realm of the spirit, then we put our faith in that revelation knowledge. For example, when the Holy Spirit uncovers a solid, never-changing truth of our physical healing, which was paid for at the cross, then we believe His Word. In addition, the Holy Spirit will confirm that spiritual truth when we pray and ask for healing, assuring us that we have our personal healing, whether or not we see it or feel it with our senses. While we don’t always understand the spirit realm, we know it when we go to God from our spirit and with revelation knowledge from the Holy Spirit.
In the world system, which only knows natural knowledge or intuitions, people do not understand spiritual truth and do not understand when we put faith in this truth we cannot see or feel with our senses. Still, it is truth, and when we know this, we live by this – by faith, not by sight. Do we still use our senses and natural knowledge? Of course, but we have a knowledge that goes beyond this realm as we know it. There are some believers who have the potential to receive more revelation knowledge, but because they are either carnal or too naturally minded, they could miss out on what God would like to share with them. God doesn’t want anyone to miss out. In the spirit, there is equality with God. He will speak if you will listen.
Application: Spend time today in worship and the Word. Ask God to speak to you, and he will.
